Which Bank Sucks Hardest?

I conducted a fun little experiment today in an attempt to answer this question that we've all wanted to know for so long. I googled bank names followed by the word sucks or preceded by the words I hate with the query in quotes. I had done this once before and it was amusing then too. So I thought I'd do it more exhaustively. I even thought of doing them all, but then I realized that there's a crapload of banks in the US. So instead I decided to just limit it to 10 bank names I know well.

Of the banks that I recognize from walking down the street or viewing obnoxious advertising, the following Google search results have been listed in order from the largest to the smallest number of results.

636 "i hate citibank"

1,170 " wells fargo sucks"
649 "i hate wells fargo"

573 "bank of america sucks"
1,190 "i hate bank of america"

614 "washington mutual sucks"
102 "i hate washington mutual"

(Very few results for JP Morgan Chase)

(Just to be sure, I tried this both with and without an apostrophe)

It's notable that the number of results estimated by Google was different in different browsers, and did not seem to correlate with the number of results that they actually showed. WTF is up with that? Google is weird sometimes. Anyway, this is certainly not an exhaustive study of anything, but it is a fun experiment to see who is the most hated on the web.
